Using Multi-Simulation to Find the True Favorites
Don't rely on a single lucky run. Use the power of 10,000 simulations to spot the true favorites.
In one simulation, Saudi Arabia might beat Argentina (just like 2022). In another, they lose 5-0. Which result is "real"?
Football is chaotic. A single simulation shows you one possible future, but it doesn't tell you what is *likely* to happen. That is where Multi-Simulation comes in.
The Law of Large Numbers
Our Multi-Simulation tool runs up to 10,000 tournaments in seconds. It uses a statistical method called "Monte Carlo simulation" to test every possible outcome.
Instead of asking "Who will win?", it asks "In 10,000 parallel universes, how many times does France win?"
The result is a probability percentage. If Brazil wins 1,800 times out of 10,000, they have an 18% chance. This data cuts through the noise of random upsets and reveals the underlying strength of each team.
Spotting the "Flukes"
Run a single simulation and you might see a surprise semi-finalist like Turkey or Peru. It looks exciting, but is it a smart prediction?
Check the Multi-Simulation results. If that team only reaches the semis in 2% of simulations, you know your single run was a statistical outlier-a fluke.
Use this to refine your bracket. Betting on the "likely" outcomes (the high percentages) is the smartest strategy over the long run.
Testing the Variables
The real power comes when you toggle the variables. How much does home advantage matter?
Run 1,000 simulations with "Crowd Influence" OFF. Note Mexico's win rate. Now turn it ON and run again.
You will see the probability shift in real time. We've seen Mexico's chances jump by 40% when crowd and altitude factors are enabled. That is the data you need to make informed predictions.
How to Use It
1. Navigate to "Multi-Sim" from the header.
2. Select your simulation count (10, 100, 1K, or 10K). Higher numbers give more accurate probabilities.
3. Toggle your factors (ELO vs FIFA, Weather, Crowd).
4. Hit Run and watch the engine process thousands of matches instantly.
The results view breaks down every team's chance of reaching the Round of 16, Quarters, Semis, and lifting the trophy.
